Industrial Pollution control

Precise Engineering provides various solutions for reducing VOC pollution and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) to the regulated levels allowed by the latest local and international standards.

These pollutants include hydrocarbons, solvents, toxic gases, organic based odors and others.

Pollution control solutions are typically in demand in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Print and Plastic industries.

The various solutions can be divided into three main families of commonly used technologies:

Adsorption systems

The solutions are based on physical processes, harnessing adsorbing capabilities of certain materials, such as Carbon, Zeolites and polymer adsorbent.

Our design takes into account the specific parameters required for the solution, such as:

  • Molecular size to be adsorbed and the pore size of the adsorbent
  • Affinity of solvent and adsorbent
  • Required solvent recovery degree
  • Additional parameters, including: airflow, concentration, temperature, space, and other

Scrubbers

Scrubbers utilize chemical absorption processes, used to remove or neutralize particulates and/or gases substances from industrial exhaust streams.

Incinerators & Thermal Oxidation

Precise Engineering’s Thermal Oxidation treatment is based on thermal destruction of the VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds).

Thermal oxidizers use recovered energy in order to pre-heat incoming process air to oxidation temperatures. This significantly lowers overall operating costs and is suitable for process streams with relatively low solvent loading.

Precise Engineering utilizes various thermal oxidizers types that efficiently reduce pollution to the desired levels, including:

  • Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTO)
  • Thermal Recuperative Oxidation
  • Catalytic Oxidizers
  • Afterburners

Sewage and Sludge Treatment

Precise Engineering specializes in reducing operational costs and improving processes in sewage treatment institutions, Dairies and other food industries.

Our solutions include:

  • Sludge and biosolids treatment, up to class A treated sewage sludge.
  • Anaerobic reactor implementation, including temperature circulation and homogenization
  • Comprehensive biogas management, including  accumulation, transport and amelioration infrastructure
  • Energy surveys, energy resources and utilization improvement projects
  • Power and heat generation from biogas, using Micro Turbines

Automated control systems

Precise Engineering's enhanced solutions include automated control system, allowing for easy monitoring and control and ensuring compliancy with the standards and regulations. Our control systems are PLC/DCU/DDC based, complete with software solutions and control panel.

The control system is designed, verified and delivered as an integral part of all environmental solutions, and is customized according to customer’s requirements.
